The MCA wishes to express our gratitude to its community and strategic partners for their support of the Clinical Trial Academy (CTA) program. In partnership with the Association for Clinical Research Professionals (ACRP) and sponsored by Bristol Meyers Squib (BMS), we are growing and diversifying our region’s clinical research workforce and the number of clinical research sites in West Texas and Southern, New Mexico. Here are a few of the program’s notable achievements.

It is precisely because of these results and our geographic location that is highly suited to grow a diverse workforce and improve the health of Latinx populations that we are receiving national attention. Groups such as Genentech, Merck, Sanofi, and Novartis, for example, are interested in learning more about what we are doing and asking how they can support us going forward.
