EL PASO, TX – The Medical Center of the Americas (MCA) Foundation recently hired Lindsey Resignato as its Communications Manager and Monica G. Peña as its Controller.
Lindsey Resignato will lead the MCA’s efforts to market and promote its various programs, and events while supporting community-wide efforts to highlight the life sciences industry as well as the MCA Campus. Previously, Lindsey planned and executed annual trade shows in Texas, Oklahoma, Colorado, and New Mexico where she developed marketing campaigns and oversaw communication strategies. Lindsey is a Texas Tech graduate with a master’s degree in mass communication.
“I’m very excited to have joined the MCA and can already tell that this is one of the best places to work in El Paso,” says Lindsey. “It’s refreshing to work with a team where everyone is on the same page and in pursuit of a common goal. The synergy here is top-notch and I’m excited to see what I can bring to the region.”
Monica Peña will be responsible for the accounting and internal control functions of all MCA Foundation and its affiliates’ transactions. Monica is a Certified Public Accountant, licensed in Texas, and brings over four years of experience from a local CPA firm, where she was able to lead audits of various industries, including non-profit organizations.
“I am very excited to join an organization that is filled with people so passionate about the expansion of this community’s biomedical industry!” says Monica. “I look forward to joining the efforts of the MCA in continuing to make an impact.”
