The Medical Center of the Americas Foundation (MCA) is proud to announce that we exceeded our El Paso Giving Day goal and raised $16,248. From October 9 through 16, donors across the Paso del Norte region came together to support the MCA’s mission of developing and catalyzing the life sciences ecosystem in the region. This achievement reflects the community’s ongoing commitment to building a stronger, healthier, and more innovative region.

El Paso Giving Day serves as an annual opportunity for the community to gather and help local non-profits reach their goal to continue their mission. For the MCA Foundation, these funds will directly support our youth programs through STEM Innovation Lab Camps, build healthcare career pathways through the Clinical Trials Academy, and help local entrepreneurs grow new health technologies through the Melinda and Meyer Marcus Foundation Innovation Center.

We could not have done this without the amazing support of The Melinda and Meyer Marcus Family Foundation, which provided $7,500 in matching funds, doubling the impact of every donation until the match was met. With the support of the community, we matched all of it—showing the region’s commitment to advancing innovation, education, and access to healthcare.
