Join us for a discussion with Julio Chiu, Founder, and CEO of Sesia, and Cecilia Levine, Owner of MFI International Manufacturing about what motivated them to continue to evolve their companies, what were the decisions they made along the way that lead to their success, and what advice would they give other companies who are transitioning.     

This discussion will be moderated by Emma Schwartz, President of the Medical Center of the Americas Foundation.

Julio Chiu, Founder and CEO - Seisa Medical

Chiu is the founder and CEO of SEISA Group, a global provider of medical device services. Previously, he was employed in investment and commercial banking in both Mexico and the United States. He serves as chair of the Paso del Norte Biomedical Cluster, co-chair of the BorderPlex 2020 Steering Committee, and is on the board of Desarrollo Económico de Ciudad Juárez. Chiu holds a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering from the University of Texas at El Paso and an MBA from the University of Rochester Simon Graduate School of Business.

Cecilia Levine, Owner - MFI International Manufacturing

Born in Chihuahua, Chih., Mexico, Cecilia moved to the United States in 1966 with her parents and eight brothers and sisters. She attended the University of Texas El Paso where she studied geology. Cecilia became a naturalized U.S. Citizen in 1982. Active in global markets, she is a partner in Innovei Asia which has offices in Taiwan and relationships with manufacturing plants in China.

Emma W. Schwartz, President - MCA Foundation

Emma Wollschlager Schwartz, MPH, serves as president for the Medical Center of the Americas (MCA) Foundation, a non-profit organization that drives the vision for positioning the Paso del Norte region as the premier center of health delivery, medical education and biomedical research for military, border and Hispanic populations. Prior to joining the MCA Foundation, Schwartz was founder and president of Wollschlager Consulting, LLC, dba W Consulting, LLC, a healthcare management and regulatory compliance consulting company.
