This course will be conducted in person on Wednesdays and Fridays June 15-24; 1 PM - 5 PM.
The main objective of this hands-on course is to give a novice an introduction to Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs). The student will be introduced to the PLC hardware components, fundamentals of logic, basics of PLC programming, PLC wiring diagrams, programming timers, programming counters, and design of Human Machine Interfaces (HMIs). At the end of the class, the students will program the ladder logic and the HMI of an industrial case study. All the labs will be conducted using Siemens PLCs and TIA portal.
This training is FREE however, space is limited. Participants must be able to attend ALL training sessions.
