Regional Tech Incubators Support Product Development

Across the Paso del Norte region, the life sciences industry is growing, thanks to support from a number of emerging research and innovation hubs encouraging entrepreneurship and startup incubation.

  • The Cardwell Collaborative: On our MCA campus in central El Paso, we have constructed the Cardwell Collaborative building—a $28 million research park under one roof. The 20,000 square-foot Cardwell Collaborative offers private startup companies and other tenants wet and dry laboratories, meeting rooms and collaboration spaces, and private and open offices.
  • The Hub of Human Innovation: Located in Downtown El Paso, just minutes away from the MCA campus, the nonprofit Hub for Human Innovation offers low-cost workspace, educational workshops, mentoring and access to capital for entrepreneurs.
  • Technology Hub: A state-of-the-art 24/7 work space in Ciudad Juárez for tech entrepreneurs from both sides of the border. Technology Hub includes private and shared office spaces, a fabrication lab with 3D scanners, printers and CNC machines, game rooms and kitchens.
  • Arrowhead Park at New Mexico State University: This 200-acre research park offers entrepreneurs tenant space for their growing companies. The park currently has 25 tenants and room for many more. The park is home to the Arrowhead Center, which offers services to help small businesses commercialize technology. Arrowhead Park offers a build-to-suit capability, and access to NMSU research centers and faculty.
