Senior Director of Innovation
Nancy Lowery is the Senior Director of Innovation for the Medical Center of the Americas Foundation (MCA), a biotech incubator and accelerator located in El Paso, Texas. The MCA’s mission is to accelerate innovation, improve health, and build prosperity. With over 20 years of experience in the commercialization of deep tech Nancy has successfully implemented programs with local and national stakeholders that include U.S. Department of Commerce Economic Development Administration and Small Business Administration, Workers Lab, Workforce Solutions Borderplex, City of El Paso Economic and International development, University of Texas El Paso, Pioneers 21 and others.
Nancy has a BA degree from St. Lawrence University in New York, an MA from the University of Texas El Paso, and advanced graduate work at San Diego State University and UC Santa Barabara. She is a past board member of Mexican American Engineers and Scientists, and currently serves as Chair for El Paso Community College’ Biotechnology Advisory Committee, and one of the lead organizers for El Paso Startup Week.
