Nahum Apodaca is a native El Pasoan who recently returned to the Paso del Norte region from Dallas, Texas. Apodaca has served in various leadership roles in city government, community, and religious organizations over the past 20 years. He has experience working in a corporate manufacturing environment, as a real estate brokerage business owner, a medical provider, and a regional non-profit administrator. He is currently working towards an engineering PhD and starting a family.
After attending Cathedral High School, Apodaca graduated from the University of Texas at El Paso with a degree in mechanical engineering. He holds master’s degrees in engineering management and systems engineering from Southern Methodist University in Dallas. He also holds a medical degree from the Universidad Autonoma de Ciudad Juárez.
