Marianne D. Mijares

Office Manager and Event Coordinator

Marianne D. Mijares serves as the office manager and event coordinator for the Medical Center of the Americas (MCA) Foundation. Her responsibilities include project coordination, special events organization, meeting coordination, HR, intern hiring and management, purchasing, rental use of the conference rooms and office management. In addition, she supports in the areas of foundation development and advancement. Marianne’s overarching goal is to support the MCA in accomplishing the foundation’s strategic vision, goals and objectives.
 
Prior to joining the MCA, she was a donor recruiter at United Blood Services for many years. She was responsible for meeting the goals from blood donation needed to supply the required blood to save lives for El Paso and the surrounding region.
 
She has served on and been an officer on many boards.
 
A native of El Paso, Marianne is a Loretto Academy graduate and studied at the University of Texas at El Paso.
