Facilities Engineer
Manuel Ortiz serves as Facilities Engineer for the Medical Center of the Americas Foundation, bringing more than 40 years of experience in facilities maintenance, building operations, and skilled trades. He oversees the maintenance and operation of the MCA campus, helping ensure a safe, efficient, and well-maintained environment for tenants, partners, and visitors.
Before joining MCA, Manuel spent over 30 years with the City of El Paso, serving as both an HVAC Technician and Facilities Maintenance Supervisor. His experience also includes roles with the Sheraton Hotel, the City of El Paso Water Department, and RJL and Grayce Company.
Manuel holds an associate degree from Northeastern Junior College and has completed technical training in refrigeration, electrical systems, HVAC, plumbing, and leadership development.
