The MCA is engaged in an ongoing dialogue with existing clinical research sites in the region to support their needs, goals, and interests. Support of existing sites includes business introductions, investigator and coordinator candidate referrals, grant opportunity identification and support, facilitating educational and networking events, and trial/site marketing and promotion.
The MCA develops and implements programs designed to grow and diversify the clinical research workforce and the number of clinical trial sites in the region. In other words we seek to grow the capacity, and capabilities of our region’s clinical research infrastructure in a manner that also align with the future of clinical research.
The MCA facilitates community-wide education, communication, and collaboration designed to engage the public and medical community in clinical research, deepen clinical research understanding, and assist with the participant recruitment and enrollment into clinical trials
The MCA promotes cooperative relationships with local clinical research organizations, site networks, industry sponsors, and life science associations across the nation to achieve our strategic goals.
The MCA will foster regional access to shared healthcare data, core labs (biobanking, multi-omics, NGS, etc.), remote care, decentralized trials, data analytics, AI, decision support, and other cutting-edge biotechnologies, when possible.
