Innovation Center Fellow
Jonathan Avila, M.B.A. has acquired a robust understanding of how innovations will impact local communities, corporations, and nonprofit organizations for individuals / patients. Jon believes spatial, human-centered design will become an essential resource for enhancing how educational experiences are delivered to future academics. Jonathan has developed familiar spatial environments, in the form of guided step-by-step procedures, for the manufacturing & industrial training sector in west Texas. While at Core Simulations and partnered with research-oriented hospitals, Jon has leveraged immersive technologies to improve patient compliance & lower re-admittance rates for physical therapy clinics in Houston, TX. Jonathan’s mission is to continuously improve on the implementation strategies he has learned from his experience deploying pilots and proof of concepts, while remaining concentrated on customer discovery & end user feedback. Jon’s vision is to build shared space, community environments that improve the guided focus for various types of learning modalities in healthcare, while accounting for ergonomics, accessibility, and freedom of exploration.
