The Nurse Innovator Accelerator empowers nurses, doctors, and other healthcare professionals to develop ideas that will improve patient care and their own work experience. Through education, training, one-on-one support, and access to resources for rapid prototyping and fabrication we move healthcare professionals into the entrepreneurial landscape.
With a design thinking focused approach, the Accelerator supports healthcare professionals to improve the healthcare workplace by moving ideas from concept to prototype to production.
How to generate great ideas, and how to validate them through your healthcare experience and focus on the user.
How to test your ideas and how to plan a roadmap to develop your first prototypes.
How to develop a business, like learning about pitching, marketing, IP protection, and other business essentials.
And how to work with product developers, learning how to prototype with technologies like 3D printing and electronics.
